Has your teen been experimenting with marijuana or alcohol? The Gobi Intervention Education program guides parents and teens through a collaborative journey of understanding to help curb or stop the use of substances.
The Gobi Intervention Education program is for middle and high school teenagers. Our program for kids and teens is not the right program for you if your child is out of high school, addicted to marijuana or alcohol, over 18 or “out of control”. Learn effective strategies on how to save your child from drug addiction with our comprehensive services. At Gobi, we assist by providing professional guidance on how to foster open communication and create a supportive environment. Our early intervention education program provides understanding of triggers that are crucial steps in helping your child cope with substance use and lead a healthy life.
Simple Tasks. Big steps
The Gobi Prevention program requires that simple tasks are completed daily—tasks that lead to helpful discussions and develop awareness of substance misuse prevention in teens, benefiting both parents and their kids. These projects are quick and easy (think ten minutes per day), and responses are stored on our secure, server that provides HIPAA level security. Ten minutes can change a life.
Regular communication via text message
Teens are texting all day! And Gobi helps them by teaching them to make better choices, handle stress, cope with peer pressure and set goals.
Supportive Memes
Teens receive positive messages with insights, inspiration, support, and even funny pictures to lighten the mood. We speak teen, and our content is teen-tested and creates relevant, easy-to-connect-with reinforcement through daily communications.
Parent & Teen Conversations
Your involvement as a parent is critical. Don’t worry—Gobi will get the conversation going and guide you every step of the way.
Parent Support
You will receive program support through emails from our collaboration with leading experts in the fields of addiction recovery and substance abuse. On one occasion, your child will be asked to schedule a time to walk with you. Gobi will provide the topic and guidelines will be included to make the conversation as successful as possible.
